There’s nothing like a semi glowing with lights in the night or chromed out sparkling in the daylight sun.
I was a kid myself when I started thinking how cool 18 wheelers were. Now I’m about to hit middle age and still love to hear the sound of an air horn or a roaring engine.
I learned early on how truck drivers make a difference and how important their role is in transporting and moving products. Think about all the things that are carried by trucks from food supplies, furniture, fuel, lumber, cars to jet engines and much more.
Now, just imagine a world without those truck drivers that are behind the wheel moving all of those items to their final destination. When you really think about it we would be in serious trouble if we didn’t have tough, big semi trucks and drivers on the road pressing on for hours and hours.
Many times a trucker will need to get in a lane or make a wide turn that takes 10 seconds longer, it is then that everyone needs to consider the serious responsibility truck drivers carry to be safe and make their schedule.
Always keep in mind that those drivers are working to get goods places just like many people are driving to work, to a concert or on a vacation and most important everyone wants to get where they are going without accidents.
So try and be considerate and keep in mind that it may be harder for them to see you due to the size of the truck and trailer they are driving.
